What stays on your device
You can browse without an account. Anonymous favorites, picks and preferences are saved in your browser. Search text, viewing hours, selected TV services, first-run choices and visit comparisons stay on your device and are not uploaded to your account. Clearing browser data can remove these saves. Device storage is not encrypted by WatchFB.
Optional account sync
If you request an email sign-in code, we process your email address to deliver it and prevent abuse. Signing in stores your email, favorite teams, saved game selections, preferences and synchronization operations in a dedicated football database. Your session uses a secure, HTTP-only, host-only cookie that expires after 30 days. Codes expire after 10 minutes; expired challenges and sessions are removed by scheduled cleanup. Account records remain until you delete the account.
Hosting, security and analytics
Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage, email delivery and Turnstile security. Requests expose technical information such as IP address and browser headers to Cloudflare. WatchFB uses hashed identifiers for rate limits. Automatic time zones use Cloudflare request metadata or your browser; we do not send your IP to a separate location service. Plausible is our only analytics service. It provides aggregate website usage statistics without analytics cookies. We do not add account identities, emails, search terms or saved picks as analytics properties. Feedback and contact records
When you send feedback, a feature request or a bug report, we store your message, its category, submission time, review status and optional reply email. Signed-in submissions may be linked to your account. These records are private and can be reviewed by the operator to improve the service and respond to you. Account and feedback addresses are kept in a private contacts database with their source and verification status. Giving an address for a reply or account sync does not subscribe it to marketing.
Optional email updates
You can separately choose email updates, new product announcements and offers from Zach Payne about WatchFB and zachp.com tools and services. The checkbox is optional and off by default. We verify email ownership before activating this choice and record its wording, version, source and time, along with later preference changes. Existing accounts are not automatically opted in. We use addresses for this purpose only while the relevant choice is active; a materially different purpose requires a new choice.
Change your choice in Email updates or unsubscribe without signing in. Future marketing messages will include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing from this list; requested account sign-in codes and replies about your feedback are separate. We retain opt-out records so an older list does not silently restore your subscription.
Sharing and alerts
Shared game and slate links contain only the game and week identifiers you choose to share. Anyone with a link can view those games. Links do not include your email, account session, favorites, viewing hours or visit history. In-app change alerts compare cached schedules on this device. Optional future email updates use the separate choice described above.
Your choices and retention
Sign out to stop account access on a device. To delete your account and synchronized football data, open Account and choose Delete account, then confirm. This also removes the matching contact, consent history and associated feedback. A one-way hash of the email is retained as an opt-out record; it cannot be used to send you email. Browser-only data can be removed through browser settings.
Feedback and contact records remain until deletion at your request, account deletion, or an administrative review. Contact the address above for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, including feedback submitted without an account; we may need to verify ownership. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. Email addresses, message contents and consent records are not sent to Plausible.
Existing saves and updates
Copying anonymous picks from cfb.zachp.com requires confirmation. Account sessions, search and visit history are never copied, and original saves remain. Material changes to this notice will be reflected here with a new effective date.
